• Student ASLA Facebook page account (create a group?), NM ASLA Facebook
account; news, competitions, etc.; blog for resources and useful links
• Ski Trip to Santa Fe with grading and drainage field trip (Greg Miller?) -
currently postponed for a lack of interest
• LABASH 2012 Miami Beach: funding options through GPSA
• Xeriscape Conference in Albuquerque
• Frederick Law Olmsted birthday 04/26/12: NM ASLA organizing an event;
April as a Landscape Architecture month
• UNM SAAP Mixer committee: ideas for getting together within the school
(field day, frisbee, cookouts, sport derby; Albuquerque Press Club membership?,
moving potlucks, bike crawl)
• Future ideas: Rhino workshop; design programs cheat sheets; Student ASLA
board space? possibly an empty studio desk; digital screen advertising for events
